Here’s how we do our reviews:
We first spend a lot of time looking for helmets, putting them through our rigorous test protocols, and checking out the fit, performance, ventilation, comfort, and other important criteria.
Next, we contact the companies to get helmet samples and send our reviewers out to ride those helmets in our lab to make sure the helmets are safe for street riding. If a helmet passes our tests, we post a review.
But, however, there are those who believe that if you live with a helmet your head will feel more comfortable when you use it on the road, so they go and buy a helmet.
